A StuH 42 hauling the Kompanie dispatch rider’sBMW R75, the crew has augmented their upper rear hull’s protection by utilizing a “Schürzen” plate. In this picture we also see the standard Balkenkreuz on the left rear and on the right of the rear hull is the tactical symbol for a tracked-Panzerjäger unit. The symbol consists of a square which surrounds the vehicle symbol, the gun-in-battery numeral (in this case an L) of which the outline is in white.
