Asmodeus, the Devil of Rennes la-Château.
It might at first seem strange to see a devil peering at you as you walk into the Rennes la-Château, but as you will see it is implicit.
Asmodeus as mentioned in the 17th century tome Ars Goetia Asmodeus showeth where the treasure lie and guardeth it. In the Talmud he watched over the building of the Solomon’s Temple.
As you step back from Asmodeus you notice a baptismal font on his back and four angels making the sign of the cross. Inscribed below
