SS-Scharführer Ahti Pio, was one of the many Finns decorated with the Iron Cross 2nd Class.
He was one of those 400, who served in various divisional units of 5.SS-Division “Wiking” in 1941. He was later transferred to the Finnish Battalion “Nordost” along with the Panzerjäger Zug.
