A rather famous shot of a NLF irregular (or Vietcong) guerrilla equipped with a Northern Vietnamese made Mosin Nagant. All over in Northern Vietnam and in NLF controlled South Vietnam were guerrilla weapons makers, a lot of the SKS, AK47s and Mosin Nagants in the mid to late Vietnam war were manufactured in less than perfect field conditions. I myself think this just adds to the legendary resiliency of the People of North Vietnam as well as adds to the legacy of both of those iconic weapons.
