Not that I know of, this like many other lesser known units have not really been brought to the fore in any book(s).
One of these days when the normal popular subjects of German WWII units (“elite” Wehrmacht, Waffen-SS, and Luftwaffe) has been driven into the ground perhaps somebody with access to the Bundsarchive will set out to do such a service.
If I had the monetary backup, I’d LOVE to produce books of those subjects.
In short it isn’t that the information isn’t there. It’s the fact people really only want the “cool” subjects, not the daily stuff, or those whose work was just as important, yet unheard of and nearly unknown.
PS: I think nurses are one of the most underrated, important and fascinating subjects, yet nobody seems to care about those women whose career made a major difference in not only healing soldiers, but in morale. Ask any Veteran about their experience in a field hospital and you’ll see a gleam in their eyes. I mean can you imagine the toll that would take emotionally and physically? Day in and day out, they deal with some of the most awful aspects of war, something even soldiers don’t deal with in their role as a combatant.
Sorry for the long reply, I just have many feelings about this subject.
